This scholarship is for a graduating senior at Secondary Academy for Success (SAS) who intends to pursue formal education beyond high school.The scholarship must be used at an accredited two-year, four-year, technical or trade school.
Criteria
- Applicant must be a graduating senior currently residing in the Northshore School District and be attending the Secondary Academy for Success.
- The scholarship may be used for tuition and / or fees.
- It must be used within one academic year following graduation and will go directly to the school where the student will attend.
- Financial need is primary consideration.
- Service to school and/or community is a requisite.
- Candidate must describe career plans and life goals.
- Letters of recommendation are accepted, but not required
- Consideration given to candidates who are a first generation college student.
- Must be available to attend the annual Chamber Education Luncheon in May.
- Provide a transcript of school records.

- Finalists will be judged on this application. Finalists to be interviewed.

About the Sponsor
Gloria M. Davis began this Scholarship Fund in 2008. Her heartfelt vision was to provide scholarship funds to those students who have worked hard and would like to further their education. Mrs. Davis passed away in 2009, This scholarship continues to be presented by the Bothell Kenmore Chamber and is led by her son, J.D. Davis in her memory. This Scholarship Fund is fulfilled by donations from our Chamber Members. The chamber has chosen in 2019 to devote its auction proceeds to establish an ongoing partnership with the Scholarship Foundation.
